"Why the Internet was invented"

Films: Fade to Black (1980)

Alias: None

Type: Natural

Location: Civilized area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Sometimes, fans can be a bit insufferable. For some reason, there are those who use media as a source of misguided entitlement to make themselves look better in spite of their misgivings. But at least none of them are as bad as Eric here.

History: Eric Binford is the kind of movie buff that other movie buffs would hate. If he saw this site, he'd find at least a few things to berate us about (aside from a few noticeable spelling errors and such, sorry). Unfortunately, he's found a dead ringer for Marilyn Monroe (complete with first name), and is intent on courting her, regardless as to who lives and who dies.

Notable Kills: Almost every death by him references an old movie, such as him dressing up as Imhotep and giving his boss a fatal heart attack.

Final Fate: After being confronted on the roof of the Mann's Chinese Theatre, Binford is shot up by the police. He dies as he lived: referencing movies. Specifically, that death from "White Heat".

Powers/Abilities: None

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-On the surface, Binford is just an unlikeable nerd who gives a bad name to film buffs everywhere. But then he starts killing people, and his creativity is on full display. Thank God he didn't start referencing "The Man Who Laughs" before he died!

Trivia: -"Cinephilia" is a word associated with those that have a deep passion for film. Many famous directors, such as Quintin Tarantino and Wes Anderson, admit to being cinephiles.

-Binford was played by Dennis Christopher, who would go on to work with Tarantino, who claimed that he had watched all of the actor's films, bolstering his confidence in himself greatly.

Happy Madison saw this poster and came up with Master of Disguise. There is no greater horror.
Wait a few decades, Eric. Then, the fandoms will act like that too.
Top of the world, you two.
The new slim Jim Sterling finally snaps.
